Humentic brings together small groups of people in facilitator-led sessions to build skills for mental wellbeing and personal growth
In each group:
Humentic offers group sessions that are facilitated by qualified experts - either a trained mental health practitioner or certified and experienced coaches. The sessions are designed to be interactive and focus on members learning and applying new skills - often with particular goals in mind.
By comparison, online support groups are informal and focus on helping members cope. They often don’t have the same level of structure and supervision.
Although some of our sessions are facilitated by licensed therapists and psychologists, Humentic groups do not provide psychological treatment or therapy.
Many of our tools and techniques are grounded in the same evidence-based techniques used in different therapies, such as CBT, ACT or mindfulness based therapies.
Humentic can be a great complement to individual therapy.
Humentic groups are a great entry point for people who are interested in or curious about therapy or coaching - whether or not you’ve tried it before.
Groups offer unique benefits including:
Our facilitators ensure that everyone gains something valuable from each session, whether that is:
You will benefit as much from listening and participating, as from speaking.
Sessions are designed to be interactive and engaging for all members. While you are encouraged to share and be vulnerable to get the most out of sessions, some members feel more comfortable doing more listening in the beginning.
Humentic is available to people who are:
We believe everyone can use some support for their emotional wellbeing, whether they:
Humentic is not a good fit for people seeking psychological treatment for mental health conditions.
You can pick the group that most appeals to you based on your current needs and goals. We can help you find the right group through the initial introduction call.
Other members in your group are all people who relate to the common theme and goals of the group, and face similar, relatable challenges. This ensures that insights and experiences shared are most relevant for everyone.
If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your group after your first three sessions, it is possible to join another group. Please speak to your facilitator about this.
We don’t offer free sessions or sessions on a ‘drop-in’ basis. This is as we’ve seen that commitment to working on emotional skills over several weeks gives the best results.
We offer a 100% refund guarantee instead. While we’re confident you’ll love the experience, if you sign up to a group and try 3 sessions, but don’t think it’s for you, we’ll offer you a full refund or the option to change groups.
All of our therapists are licensed with their relevant professional bodies and are experienced in evidence-based therapy modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Our coaches are all experienced professionals who are carefully vetted. We don’t train our coaches ourselves, but recruit only the highest quality. This includes strong feedback from clients, a minimum of 2 years experience and 100 hours of live coaching.
Your facilitator and other group members agree to keep all conversations and interactions private and confidential.
You can raise this and any additional questions about confidentiality during the introduction call.
For the full benefits of our sessions, we encourage you to keep your camera on. However, for some of our groups, you can also join anonymously if you feel more comfortable.
